Treatments

From cataract and retina to vision correction

Choose what brings you here. The right treatment depends on your test results, so the plan is decided after an examination.

For clouded lenses and blurred near vision, with careful lens measurement before surgery.

Presbyopia and cataract surgery

For Blurred or dim vision, glare, or trouble reading as you get older.

The clouded lens is replaced with an artificial lens. The clinic measures the eye with IOL Master 700 and other instruments, and chooses the lens with you.

Cataract with high myopia

For People with strong short-sightedness who now have a cataract.

Long eyes need careful lens power measurement. The clinic explains the options after the tests.

Cataract together with retinal disease

For Cataract that appears alongside a retinal problem, or with bleeding inside the eye.

Where a retinal operation is needed, the clinic says it can be done together with cataract surgery. The doctor decides after the examination.

Re-operation after cataract surgery

For A lens that moved or was placed off-centre after an earlier operation, here or elsewhere.

The surgeon examines the lens and the eye, then explains whether the lens can be repositioned or exchanged.

How we work

Three doctors, a clean operating room, clear tests

01

Three ophthalmologists

Dr. Lee Jonghwan treats retina and cataract. Dr. Hyeon Sanghun, a doctor of medicine, treats cataract and glaucoma. Dr. Kim Jieun is a glaucoma specialist.

02

Clean room surgery

The operating suite has HEPA filtering, an air shower and a clean bench, built to control air quality and infection risk. Equipment includes the Centurion cataract system and Zeiss Lumera 700 microscope.

03

Tests before decisions

Examination tools include IOL Master 700, Optos Daytona wide-field imaging, Cirrus OCT 5000 and ARK-1, so the plan rests on measurements of your own eyes.
